Stutz Hard Apple Cider was born on January 29th 2002. That’s the day the first bottle, we mean, label, cap and all came off the production line. Stutz Hard Apple Cider is the brainchild of Swiss businessman Hanspeter Stutz, who along with his extended family had already developed a successful winery (Domaine de Grand Pre) in the heart of Nova Scotia’s fertile Annapolis Valley, which is certainly more famous for growing apples than grapes.

Surrounded by a veritable goldmine of apples, Hanspeter applied the same principles of using the finest quality, distinct and natural ingredients that produced his unique Domaine de Grand Pre wines, to producing hard apple cider. The result was a naturally amazing tasting and amazingly refreshing hard cider with just a little ‘zip’.
